This cakes are usually found in south Indian bakery’s , this recipe adapted from Cooking My Way ,its really a wonderful recipe thanks to vidu 🙂 🙂 .
For this recipe you need sponge cake ,you can use ready made one / you can make it from scratch , i used oil based sponge cake ,for recipe :- http://j.mp/1IF6ITT ,replace pineapple essence with vanilla essence and discard the tutti frutti.
Once you prepared the cake ,allow it to come to room temp,then cut the cake into little squares,and keep it aside.
In a sauce pan add 1 cup of water,bring it to boil.Add 2-3 tbsp of mixed fruit jam and whisk till the jam melts,switch off the stove.
