This little guy was born in the fall when the air starts to get chilly but not too cold to wear a coat. He enjoys sleeping in the hammock near the window when the sun hits. He looks so comfy in it I sometimes want to join him. He likes to be warm and cozy but is not a fan of big thick jackets.

Bruno is a sleepy head, but he does love to cuddle and let me tell you, he might be the cuddliest baby I know. Little Bruno was expected to be a preemie size toy doll. However, some things don’t go the way we plan and this baby boy was just not ready for preemie clothes yet. Bruno is a little 15 inch toy doll a little too small for preemie clothes but his heart is as big as can be.

Finding something to wear around the holidays that makes a lady feel glamorous, gorgeous, and comfortable all in one can be a tall order. Living in a small space, it is a big production (sometimes, lasting for days) of switching out summer clothes for winter layers. This is complicated by a necessary session of anticipating what I’ll feel like wearing in 3-4-5 months from now (winter lasts long in the Northeast!).

By the time a night out or a holiday party comes around, the following can happen,

1) you find an outfit, it fits, you love it still!

2) you just don’t feel like wearing any of the options you have but you have to make it work

3) the worst- you can’t FIT into the outfit you pick out – or you can, but forget about eating all the yummy party food you were looking forward to.

It's a T-Sweets day!

image   I joined a Facebook group called Sew A-longs and Sewing Contests.  The sew along this summer is to make six sleep wear items.  I don’t know why I do this to myself,  but I just can’t stop!  I just love, love, LOVE to sew and create:)

For my first item I finally made a pair of pj bottoms for myself.  Last Thanksgiving my friend, Julie, came to visit.  She was wearing a darling pair of pj’s and wished that she could have some for her girls for Christmas.  We made a pattern out of them and got busy sewing.  She sewed 5 pair and I sewed 4 pair.  All of my girls loved them, but I was left out.  Now, I feel like it is Christmas for me!

I am glad I made the pattern on sturdy paper and wrote the directions right on the paper.  It was easy easy…
